This includes the classic disciplines of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry, each of which comprises a basic and an advanced module, as well as the areas of analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and theoretical chemistry. In addition to theoretical courses (lectures, seminars, and exercises), most modules also include chemical laboratory practicals in which the newly learned material is applied in practical experiments. Furthermore, students acquire additional qualifications in toxicology, legal studies, and other elective subjects that are useful for careers as chemists.
