The program is fully accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry, and as a graduate you are eligible for Associate Membership (AMRSC), from which you can work towards Chartered Chemist (CChem) status.

Curriculum and Modules
The Chemistry BSc curriculum is structured to build your knowledge progressively across three years, integrating organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry in a modern, interconnected approach. Introduces the fundamentals of atoms and molecules, covering electron behaviour, atomic structure, molecular bonding, and basic principles of organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry as a bridge to university-level study.
Further explores key chemistry principles including reactivity and mechanism, building a more complete model of the world of atoms and molecules and providing a broad overview of future areas of study.
Develops essential practical laboratory skills through a range of techniques for synthesising and characterising molecules, and quantitatively measuring their physical and chemical properties.
Covers spectroscopic techniques for molecular identification and electrochemical principles, building on first-year foundations in physical and analytical chemistry.
