The MSc in Medicinal Chemistry at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) is an interdisciplinary program that combines chemistry, biology, pharmacy, and other branches of science for drug discovery and development. The MSc in Medicinal Chemistry is structured over two years, progressing from foundational advanced coursework in Year 1 to specialized electives and an independent research project in Year 2. Covers the full pharmaceutical development pipeline from lead compound identification through preclinical testing, formulation, quality control, and regulatory considerations for bringing drugs to market.
In-depth exploration of drug mechanisms of action at the molecular level, including receptor interactions, signal transduction pathways, and the molecular biology techniques used in modern drug discovery.
