Mechatronic Engineering (3 Years)

This programme focuses on the design of intelligent machines, ranging from electric vehicles to industrial robots. The curriculum integrates mechanical elements, electrical power, sensing, and control theory to address the industry's need for engineers skilled in complex electro-mechanical systems.

Students develop specialist knowledge in areas such as energy harvesting and medical mechatronics, utilizing advanced electronics and computer laboratories. Practical application is central to the course, involving experimental projects and prototype development—such as energy-harvesting carpets or heart monitors—supervised by subject matter experts. The degree is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, fully meeting the academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer status and partially meeting those for Chartered Engineer registration.
