Midwifery

Upon completion, graduates earn the qualification to practice as a midwife (ostetrica/o). Graduates are qualified for a variety of roles in healthcare, including: 

• Providing support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium (postpartum period).
• Supervising natural births.
• Identifying potential pathologies that require medical intervention.
• Engaging in health education and sexual health programs within communities.
• Working in public, private, or accredited healthcare facilities, both domestically and internationally.
