Istinye University (ISU) was established in 2015 by the 21st Century Anatolian Foundation, building upon over 30 years of knowledge and experience from the MLP Care Group, which unites the Liv Hospital, Medical Park, and VM Medical Park hospital brands under one roof. The university operates two main campuses — the Topkapi Campus in Zeytinburnu and the Vadi Istanbul Campus in Sariyer — both located on the European side of Istanbul.
With a highly qualified team of over 800 academic staff members, ISU offers 44 associate, 60 undergraduate, 38 graduate, and 15 doctoral programs across nine faculties. The university hosts 19 research centers and has earned recognition for its rapid academic growth, particularly in health sciences, engineering, and interdisciplinary research.
Istinye University applies a student-centered approach to education, aiming to expand the borders of science through faculty-led research while preparing students with leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and strong ethical values. The university is also a member of the ATLAS Experiment at CERN and the European School of Sustainability Science and Research (ESSSR).
