Robotics Engineering BEng

The course advances knowledge of robotics, artificial intelligence, and electronics systems at the forefront of engineering and design. From the first day, they develop ideas to address key challenges engineers solve in the real world, using creativity and problem-solving to understand their role in influencing the world for the better, including issues around sustainability, ethics, the economy, and society. The course builds on understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles to gain expert knowledge of robotics and autonomous systems. Project work is central to the learning experience, allowing students to put theory into practice and gain technical design skills valued in industry, with opportunities to join student teams competing annually, such as Team Bath Racing Electric, Team Bath Drones, and Team Bath Roving.
