Program Overview: MSc Marketing Management
The Master of Science in Marketing Management at Global College Malta is designed to enhance and upgrade your general management knowledge, skills, and aptitude with a special focus on marketing. Delivered through interactive lectures, case discussions, workshops, role-plays, and self-learning exercises, the program prepares you for leadership roles in marketing-driven organisations across the private, public, and voluntary sectors.
The program follows a student-centric learning approach delivered on a full-time basis over one year at the SmartCity Malta campus in Kalkara. Curriculum and Modules
The MSc in Marketing Management is structured across two semesters of taught modules followed by a Major Project. Four modules are delivered in Semester 1 and a further four in Semester 2, providing a comprehensive foundation in both marketing strategy and general management disciplines.
Explores the development and implementation of marketing strategies in competitive environments, covering market analysis, segmentation, targeting, and positioning frameworks.
Critically evaluates current developments in marketing technologies, focusing on developing digital marketing strategies for the web and mobile platforms, including campaign measurement and optimisation.
Analyses consumer decision-making processes and market research methodologies, equipping you with the skills to gather and interpret data that drives effective marketing decisions.
Provides practical, hands-on experience in applying marketing concepts to real business scenarios, including promotional campaign design, implementation, and evaluation.

Academic Requirements
- Academic QualificationA good degree from a recognised university or equivalent higher education institution. A degree related to Business and Management is advantageous but not essential.
- Professional QualificationAlternatively, a graduate-level professional qualification from a recognised institution may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Work ExperienceApplicants are strongly encouraged to have two or more years of relevant work experience, although this need not be continuous.
- Pre-Masters PathwayWhere appropriate, applicants may be required to complete a pre-masters orientation programme approved by Global College Malta.
- Suitability AssessmentThe application process carefully considers each applicant's suitability to successfully complete the program. An interview may be conducted where appropriate.
