Central / Historical Campus, Italy
The degree program is structured into a single curriculum, which includes the core and core disciplines in the philosophical, historical-literary, and psycho-pedagogical fields of the program.
In the first year, students are introduced to the various subject areas of the Degree Program through core courses in various fields: the curricular courses include three philosophical disciplines, two of which are historical in nature; a course in Developmental Psychology; and, in the historical-literary field, one course in history and one in literature. The second year is primarily dedicated to strengthening their philosophical education through core and distinctive courses in theory, morality, epistemology, history, and philosophy of language. The basic training in psycho-pedagogy is completed with a course in General Pedagogy.
After the first two years of the program, which are common to all students, in the third year students can focus their studies on three different subject areas, each oriented toward specific educational and professional development objectives, taking advantage of the credits reserved for related and complementary subjects:
- historical disciplines: this program provides for enhanced study of historical disciplines, with a view to debt-free access, after obtaining a master's degree in the LM-78 class, to the teaching qualification class A/19 - Philosophy and History;
- psycho-pedagogical disciplines: this program provides for enhanced study of psychological and pedagogical disciplines, with a view to access, after obtaining a master's degree in the LM-78 class, to the teaching qualification class A/18 - Philosophy and Human Sciences, as well as with a view to entering the career fields of vocational guidance and training;
- Publishing and Communications: This program includes the study of sociology, communication, linguistics, archives, and bibliography, with a view to entering the workforce in the cultural industry, communications, and libraries. However, this program does not exclude the possibility of meeting the minimum requirements for teaching qualifications after completing the Master's degree.
