Philosophy and history

The program lasts three years, and to graduate, students must have earned 180 credits, including the final examination. The program is structured along a common curriculum for both degree programs in the first two years, followed by a third year of specialization that varies depending on the program chosen. The first two years include fundamental and institutional courses, centered on the core scientific and disciplinary sectors that characterize both programs; the third year involves specialization in the different cultural and scientific domains of philosophy or history. This structure allows students to definitively choose a degree in Philosophy (L-5) or a degree in History (L-42) at the beginning of the third year, having acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to choose the path best suited to their interests. Thus, while respecting the shared credit structure and the underlying cultural project, the study programs ensure the specificity of the two degree programs.
