These objectives are pursued not only through classroom teaching but also through laboratory and field experiments and internships in which students actively participate, focusing on integrated life and earth sciences topics. The degree in Natural and Environmental Sciences provides access to subsequent master's degree programs in the Natural Sciences or related degree programs. Graduates may pursue professional careers as naturalists specializing in environmental analysis and management, museum preparation technicians, and naturalistic culture disseminators. They may also pursue the profession of junior biologist after passing the relevant state exam and registering with the Professional Register of Biologists, Section B. Alternatively, they may specialize through a first-level master's program. The degree program in Natural and Environmental Sciences has limited enrollment, with 75 places available for the 2025/2026 academic year.
