The University of Teramo (Università degli Studi di Teramo, or UNITE) is a public research university located in Teramo, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Officially established as an independent institution in 1993, it traces its origins to 1961 when the local consortium first introduced degree courses in Law and Foreign Languages as part of the D'Annunzio University of Chieti–Pescara.
Today, the university offers programs across five departments — Law, Political Science, Communication Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and Bioscience and Agro-Food and Environmental Technology. Its Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is accredited by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE), and its Food Science programs have received European-level accreditation under the EQAS-Food scheme.
