Dietetics

Students acquire practical and theoretical skills in assessing nutritional status, developing personalized diets, and promoting health through proper nutrition. Graduates are qualified to work in hospitals, clinics, food and restaurant services, and public and private food industries. They can work as employees or freelancer. After obtaining their bachelor's degree, graduates can continue their studies with a master's degree (laurea magistrale) or a postgraduate specialization (master di primo livello). At the Magna Græcia University of Catanzaro (UMG), the bachelor's degree in Dietetics (Corso di Laurea in Dietistica) is part of the School of Medicine and Surgery. The program is designed to train health professionals with the specific skills required for the profession of a dietician.
