University of Leeds: Overview & History
The University of Leeds is one of the largest and most prestigious higher education institutions in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1904 by Royal Charter from King Edward VII, the university is a founding member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities and is consistently ranked in the world's top 100.

Today, the University of Leeds welcomes students from over 130 countries and offers more than 500 undergraduate and 200 postgraduate degree courses across seven faculties.
