The Master in Creating Cinema - From Screenplay to Film at IED Milan immerses participants in the complete journey of transforming a written screenplay into performances, scenes, films, and series. Under the guidance of renowned screenwriters, directors, casting directors, actor-coaches, and actors, you will develop the collaborative skills essential to professional filmmaking.
This program is built around the dynamic relationship between screenwriters, directors, and actors. Screenwriters learn to integrate the practical needs of performers, directors learn to communicate their vision effectively to actors, and actors develop the ability to build their characters proactively and contribute meaningfully to the creative process.
Following a modular path, the program covers all preparatory steps leading to actual film production: text analysis, reality dramaturgy, casting, rehearsals, script revision, set realization, direction, and staging.
