Program Overview: BA in Cinema at IED

The Bachelor of Arts in Cinema at IED is structured as a comprehensive creative laboratory built on the idea of cinema as a collective process, where every project is born from the synergy of various professional roles. Under the guidance of instructors who hold significant professional roles within the Italian film industry, you will gain a thorough understanding of the creative and production processes behind cinematic and television works.

Over the course of three years, you will experience life as part of a film crew, taking on various roles related to film production. The program combines broad and multidisciplinary cultural preparation with a hands-on, laboratory-based approach, equipping you with the tools to develop an original perspective and strong technical skills that grow in complexity as you progress.
