Electrical & Electronics Engineering

In our department, students are given general engineering courses (physics, mathematics, computers, etc.) in the first year of undergraduate education. In addition to general engineering formation courses, vocational courses begin in the second year. Students who complete learning the basics of electrical engineering in the third year continue in that field by choosing one of the four basic field courses (Electronics, Communication & Signal Processing, Control & Robotics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy) in the fourth year. In addition to compulsory courses, our department has a rich selection of elective courses that students can take in line with their interests.

Opportunities Offered to Students:

• Opportunity to learn a foreign language (Free),
• Opportunity to do a minor (with scholarship during the normal education period of the major program),
• Opportunity to do a double major (scholarship during the normal education period of the Double Major program),
• Opportunity to study abroad through international exchange programs (1 or 2 semesters),
• Opportunity to continue postgraduate programs after graduation.

Career Opportunities:

Graduates can be employed in our country's energy sector, electromechanical industry and electronics industry, and can work in electrical and electronics units in public institutions. They can work in the fields of electrical energy production plants of organizations, village electrification, energy systems, industrial automation, communication, lighting, power installation, software and hardware in computers.

Students who successfully complete the program can apply for master's and doctorate degrees in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering or other branches of science that accept students from this field.
