Biomedical Sciences (3 Years) BSc

The degree covers modules from medically relevant disciplines such as Cellular and Systems Physiology, Cellular Basis of Health and Disease, and Genetics and Immunology. Students can tailor their Biomedical Sciences studies by selecting modules in areas including Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Cancer Biology, and Microbiology and Infection, and will complete an independent research project.

Career support is provided from the beginning of the programme, helping students evaluate potential pathways both within Biomedical Sciences and in related sectors.

The course also develops transferable skills in communication, teamwork, project management, and computing through practical sessions and group-based learning.
