Program Overview: BA Economics and Politics at Kent
The BA (Hons) Economics and Politics at the University of Kent is a joint honours programme that provides a thorough grounding in core political and economic concepts. Covers the measurement of GDP, inflation, and unemployment, and applies macroeconomic models to analyse the effects of government and central bank policy on outcomes like consumption, inflation, and unemployment.
A foundational politics module that introduces you to the key concepts, institutions, and debates in political science, providing the groundwork for more advanced political analysis in later years.
Explores the major political ideologies and theories that have shaped modern political systems, examining how ideas influence governance, policy, and political movements around the world.
