High-achieving students can gain exemptions from professional examinations. Kent stands out as one of the few UK universities offering actuarial science, blending theoretical and practical expertise. The faculty includes experienced actuaries and specialized researchers. Depending on chosen modules, students may qualify for exemptions from subjects CB1, CB2, CM1, CM2, CS1, and CS2.
Integrated Master's Option
Those considering the Actuarial Science MSc may also apply for the Applied Actuarial Science (Integrated Master's) MSc (2 years).
