Curriculum & Modules

The programme comprises seven compulsory modules, one optional module, and a compulsory final project. You can choose between a traditional research dissertation or an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Project supported by the SBM Entrepreneurship Hub, allowing you to apply your learning to real-world ventures.

Explores the political, economic, and societal changes the digital economy brings to business and society. You will engage with theoretical debates around digital labour, technology, and innovation from critical management perspectives.

Innovation Management in the Global Economy

Examines competitive advantage through innovation by understanding industry and firm dynamics of technological innovation. Covers strategic dilemmas including standards battles, timing of entry, and collaborative innovation strategies.

Entrepreneurial Management

Develops your understanding of the key dimensions of entrepreneurship theory and processes within organisations. You will learn to generate, evaluate, and implement new business ideas using an entrepreneurial lens.

Research Methods
