Curriculum & Modules

The MSc Research Methodology curriculum is structured to build your competence across the full spectrum of research skills needed for business and management research. You will progress from foundational research philosophy and design through to advanced quantitative and qualitative techniques, culminating in a substantial dissertation project. Research Philosophy and Design

Explores the philosophical foundations of research, including ontology, epistemology, and the major paradigms that underpin social science and business research. You will learn to design robust research frameworks appropriate to different types of inquiry.

Quantitative Research Methods

Covers statistical analysis techniques used in business and management research, including descriptive and inferential statistics, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. You will gain proficiency with statistical software tools for data analysis.

Qualitative Research Methods
