Curriculum and Modules — MSc Neuroimaging

The programme consists of two parts: taught modules over two semesters followed by an intensive research thesis in the third semester. You are required to take four core neuroimaging modules with a large laboratory component, choose three content modules in specific neuroscience areas, and complete two skills modules to hone your research capabilities.

Introduction to Neuroimaging

Covers the theoretical and methodological aspects of modern neuroimaging, including the physics of MR imaging, the physiological basis of functional signals, imaging data processing and analysis theory, and research study design.

Introduction to Neuroimaging Analysis

A lab-based module focusing on the practicalities of modern neuroimaging techniques. Students learn data analysis, visualisation, and programming skills in MATLAB, FSL, SPM, and DTI packages through hands-on workshops.

Advanced Concepts in Neuroimaging
