Nutrition and Dietetics

Students graduating from our University's Department of Nutrition and Dietetics will be equipped with the skills to identify individual nutritional needs, create and implement nutrition plans and programs, contribute to the development of policies aimed at protecting and promoting public health, research and address nutrition-related health issues, ensure the optimal use of existing food resources, conduct food inspections, and inform individuals and communities about adopting healthy lifestyles from physiological, psychological, and sociological perspectives, plan, implement, and monitor diet programs for special conditions, such as illnesses.

Graduates of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics , which is gaining more popularity and significance, have employment opportunities in a wide range of fields, including treatment institutions (public and private hospitals, clinics, health centers, dialysis units, etc.), public health service providers (maternal and child health centers, health centers, child and elderly care homes, sports schools, etc.), mass nutrition systems (educational institutions, catering companies, hotel food and beverage departments, public and private institutions providing mass nutrition, etc.), the food and pharmaceutical industry, private nutrition and consultancy centers, international health and nutrition organizations such as FAO, WHO, UN, and UNICEF, visual and print media, and research and educational institutions.
