Nutrition and Dietetics

The “Nutrition and Dietetics” department, opened within the Faculty of Health Sciences of Izmir Tınaztepe University, is a 4-year undergraduate program prepared for this purpose. The aim of the department is to train graduates who are experts in the fields of nutritional sciences and dietetics, to prepare diet programs for the treatment of diseases, to translate scientific data into practical diet recommendations, to determine individual nutrition patterns, to ensure health compliance in terms of nutrition in mass nutrition places, to be a department recognized, valued and preferred in national and international platforms with its scientific studies and consultancy with professional and ethical values. Graduates from this department are given the title of “Dietitian”. Izmir Tınaztepe University is a "health-themed" educational institution with a student focus. Practical education and research opportunities are offered in four hospitals with high patient density within the Tınaztepe Health Group. With our expert teaching and implementing staff, we are expecting our students to our "Nutrition and Dietetics" department in order to train graduates who are competent in their fields and ready for business life, and to provide educational environments where they can present their projects in the scientific field.
