Environmental and Sustainable Design
Program Overview: Environmental, Sustainable and Regeneration Design MA
The Environmental, Sustainable and Regeneration Design MA at London Metropolitan University is a multidisciplinary course that draws on knowledge and practice from social science, design, and technology. You will focus on creating sustainable design solutions based on research, especially for systems, product, interior, environmental, urban, and community-based projects.
Governments, companies, and individuals worldwide are recognising that environmental, regeneration, and sustainable design is essential to the survival of our civilisations and also represents an opportunity for designers and businesses. This growing recognition means that many national and local governments, as well as large design practices, now employ staff specialising in one or more of these areas.
You will engage in live projects for real-world clients, ensuring that your understanding of the sector and how your talents match available opportunities is accurate and up to date. The course team and their industry connections provide first-hand experience of the challenges that environmental, sustainability, and regeneration designers face, embedded in London's vibrant creative sectors.
