Program Overview: Living Planet with Sustainable Agriculture and Technology MSc

The MSc Living Planet with Sustainable Agriculture and Technology at Imperial College London is designed for aspiring agricultural scientists, technologists, and sustainability professionals who want to transform the future of farming and tackle the biggest challenges in food production and ecosystem health. You will explore how ecological principles and cutting-edge technologies can be applied to create more resilient, productive, and sustainable farming systems.

The program covers topics such as biological control, integrated crop management, agritech innovation, and sustainable livestock production. You will gain hands-on experience through fieldwork, lab sessions, and exclusive visits to agritech companies, research farms, and commercial operations, building practical skills valued by employers worldwide.

A major highlight of the programme is the five-month independent research project, where you choose a topic that inspires you and develop your own research under the guidance of an Imperial supervisor.
