• Thanks to the second foreign language courses taken as a compulsory course starting from the second grade and the third foreign language courses taken as an elective course starting from the third grade, you will have the opportunity to learn languages ​​such as Spanish, Italian, German, French, Russian, Chinese and Arabic.
• Within the scope of the Erasmus+ program, you will have the opportunity to study in European countries such as Spain, Poland, Italy, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania or North Macedonia.

English Translation and Interpreting Department graduates can work in many areas in the private sector and government institutions with the versatile knowledge and skills they have gained. They can fulfill a wide range of duties such as written and oral translation, editing, post-editing, teaching, communication and customer service representative in many places such as ministries, courthouses, translation offices, notary publics, media organizations, educational institutions, commercial institutions, health institutions, shopping malls and sites, tourism companies, accommodation and transportation service providers.

Thanks to the English Language Teaching and English Language and Literature courses they take during their undergraduate education, our students can continue their postgraduate education in these fields in addition to Translation Studies and have the opportunity to work in academia.
