Biochemistry
6 ECTSFocuses on biomolecules, enzyme kinetics, gene expression, protein synthesis, ATP generation, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, signal transduction, and molecular immunology. Includes integrated laboratory work.
Microbiology
6 ECTSExamines cell structure and function in prokaryotes, eukaryotes, and viruses, as well as microbial culture, metabolism, growth, genetics, evolution, systematics, and microbial ecosystems.
Cell Biology
6 ECTSCovers introduction to cells, chemical and molecular foundations, cell organization, cell signaling, membrane trafficking, cytoskeleton, cell-cycle and cell-growth control, tissues, and cancer biology.
Molecular Biology and Genetics
6 ECTSExplores the molecular biology of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells including DNA replication, repair, mutation, transcription, translation, regulation of gene expression, and embryonic development from a molecular perspective.
Graduation Project
