M.Sc. Finance Program Overview

The M.Sc. Finance at the International School of Management (ISM) expands your knowledge in taxation, financial law, accounting, controlling, and financial rating, training you to become an expert in financial management. The program sensitizes you to current finance-related topics, enabling you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the interrelations between financial markets.

You will complete the first two semesters at one of the ISM campus locations in Germany, gaining in-depth specialist knowledge from the global and digital financial sector, including investment and asset management, derivatives, financial reporting, and blockchain and digital assets. In the third semester, you study at one of ISM's approximately 190 international partner universities, with the fourth semester dedicated to a practical phase, consulting projects, and your practice-oriented Master's thesis.

ISM is a member of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program, underscoring the professional and practical quality of the M.Sc. Finance curriculum. Small class sizes enable intensive exchange with experienced lecturers from the business world, and you also have the opportunity to earn an international double degree at a partner university abroad.
