Program Overview: BSc Cyber Security at WMG
The BSc Cyber Security at WMG, University of Warwick equips you to be part of the worldwide team securing the human experience in cyber space. This degree explores cyber security in a broad and realistic way, examining how cyber systems are attacked, protected, and investigated through real-world examples involving cyber crime and digital forensics.
The program offers a deep understanding of cyberspace, starting with the fundamentals of software development, computer architecture, networks, operating systems, and information risk management. You will study topics from two perspectives — what should happen and what does happen — learning to identify and address the many cyber security challenges that lurk in this gap between concept and reality.
Delivered at the WMG Cyber Security Centre by subject leaders in the field, this course has a strong technical focus while also emphasising the role played by people, processes, and the physical environment in achieving cyber security. The program is fully certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), part of GCHQ, and accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
