Air Transport Planning and Management MSc

This program is designed to provide a deep, integrated understanding of the strategic, economic, and operational complexities unique to the air transport industry. Students focus on critical areas such as airline economics, cost analysis, demand forecasting, customer management, and evolving sustainability policies. The core curriculum covers air transport economics, market research, and liberalized market management, while elective modules allow for specialization in airport planning, consumer behavior, and station finance. Instruction is uniquely delivered in intensive five-day blocks, allowing full-time students to graduate in one year, while "block-release" students can complete the degree over two to three years. Each block integrates online materials, collaborative group work, and applied sessions, often featuring site-specific studies at airports or airline facilities. The learning experience is further enriched by international case studies and industrial guest speakers who strengthen direct connections to the sector. The program culminates in a final independent research project where students address a real-world aviation problem and present their findings in a professional report, supported by dedicated career counseling and financial guidance.
