Curriculum & Modules

The program is structured across three academic semesters totaling 90 ECTS. The first semester (30 ECTS) includes four compulsory modules, the second semester (30 ECTS) includes five compulsory modules, and the third semester (30 ECTS) is dedicated to the completion of the postgraduate diploma thesis.

Principles of Circular Economy

Covers the fundamental concepts and contexts of the circular economy, including value chains, business models, and the transition from linear to circular systems in industrial environments.

Sustainability Strategies in Business and Organizations

7.5 ECTS

Explores methodologies of sustainability strategies applied to business operations and human needs, including corporate social responsibility and sustainable development frameworks.

Environmental Policy and Circular Economy Legislation

7.5 ECTS

Examines the EU Circular Economy Action Plan, environmental regulations, and policy instruments that drive the transition to a low-carbon and circular economy.

Waste Management and Resource Recovery

7.5 ECTS

Focuses on waste management significance in environmental and economic challenges, including modern recycling and reuse technologies applied in industrial settings.

Green Innovation and Cyclic Design

6 ECTS

Addresses cyclic design and business model approaches, examining how circular innovations are implemented and scaled across different industries and sections of the value chain.

Circular Economy Measurement and Assessment Tools
