Social Services, Social Policies, Service Planning and Management

The course aims to develop the ability to understand the context in which they operate and skills in the relational, socio-political, administrative, managerial, and executive fields to be able to design, conduct, and evaluate social interventions and services for individuals, in welfare systems, public bodies, and for-profit or non-profit organizations. The course opens the door to professional work in public social, educational, and socio-health services, in services activated by the third sector, primarily within social cooperatives, or in the personal services market, with organizational and planning responsibilities and/or evaluation and supervision roles. The overall objective of the Degree Programme is to train professionals capable of coordinating, designing, managing, and evaluating social, social welfare, and social education interventions within the scope of human services.

To this end, the training program is designed to meet specific cultural and professional needs, focusing on the following topics: planning, supervision, and coordination of interventions, specialized social work, and the management and evaluation of policies and services, with a particular focus on the innovative potential of welfare systems. Furthermore, it aims to develop a professional skill beyond basic social work training, enabling them to practice as specialist social workers.
