Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Trieste (class L-7) trains professionals for the design, construction, and management of civil and environmental infrastructure, civil and industrial buildings, and transportation systems. It integrates traditional and innovative knowledge to produce graduates with a solid scientific foundation and specific professional expertise in the fields of structural, construction, infrastructure and transportation, hydraulic, and environmental engineering.

The program prepares for the Master's Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Trieste (class LM-23), which is offered in a mixed Italian-English language and features the curricula

a) Sustainable Civil Engineering, and

b) Infrastructures and Transport Systems Engineering.

The program also prepares for the interclass Master's Degree in Engineering of the Energy Transition at the University of Trieste (class LM-24/LM-30), which is taught entirely in English. During their studies, students can spend a period abroad through the Erasmus+ program and can access, through a competitive exam, the L. Fonda university college.
