Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics degree program provides students with a solid foundation to understand, utilize, and apply the methodologies and techniques of two contemporary cornerstones of information technology: Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics.

After a training phase covering the core disciplines required to understand the two disciplines (mathematics, statistics, and computer science), the program focuses on:

- data-driven machine learning techniques and formal methods specific to complex systems with applications in various contexts;

- traditional Artificial Intelligence methodologies based on logic and automatic reasoning;

- methods and techniques for data management and analysis specific to data science.

Graduates in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics may pursue careers as managers and developers of artificial intelligence systems, data analysts, and data managers. Knowledge of artificial intelligence and data analytics can be further developed and specialized in application domains during one of the two available master's degrees (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence or Scientific Data Intensive Computing).
