Policy Analysis & Global Governance MSc

The MSc Policy Analysis and Global Governance programme provides a structured, research-led approach to understanding public policy and global governance. The degree includes five core 20-credit modules and one optional module, followed by a 60-credit dissertation that enables you to undertake an independent research project in a specialised area.

Core modules include Policy Analysis and Practice, Comparative Governance & Public Administration, Applied Research Methods in Social Sciences, and Global Crisis Management, developing key skills in policy evaluation, governance, and research. You will also choose an optional module from areas such as Power, Politics & Civil Society, The State, Globalisation and Social Justice, or Applied Criminal Justice, allowing you to tailor your studies.

Teaching is delivered within an international context, with a strong emphasis on applying theory to real-world global challenges. The final dissertation provides the opportunity to focus on a specific topic of interest within public policy or governance, supported by academic supervision.
