Digital Strategy and Information Systems (MSc)
Highfield Campus, United Kingdom
To maintain competitiveness within the contemporary digital economy, the development of a comprehensive digital strategy is essential. Such strategies enable organisations to effectively manage information systems and analytics capabilities, thereby facilitating access to new data sources, including ‘big data,’ generating novel insights into customers and business processes, and designing platforms for internal knowledge sharing. Central to these operations are information systems—the processes through which technology is utilised to create, store, and share management information. Consequently, the MSc Digital Strategy and Information Systems (DSIS) is designed to cultivate in-depth knowledge regarding the effective development, use, and management of these systems within business and social contexts. The programme covers both the theory and practice of digital strategy, examining the subject's technological, managerial, and social dimensions, with instruction delivered by academics who underpin their teaching with specialist research and industry expertise.
