Safety, Health and Environmental Management (15 Months)
University of South Wales, United Kingdom
With safety, health and environmental issues becoming increasingly important, there is growing demand for professionals with the right skills. The MSc Safety, Health and Environmental Management degree produces such health and safety practitioners, who can identify, assess, and solve health, safety, and environmental problems by applying principles of good management. Delivery is mainly through workshops that encourage discussion and shared experience learning. Knowledge-based study is provided online and the workshops are designed to explore topics further through examples and practical application.
Assessment takes many different forms, both individual and group. Assessments include reports (to promote professional delivery), case studies (to examine real projects), open book examinations (to test application as well as understanding), and presentations (to improve communication skills).
