Learning is facilitated through a structured combination of weekly lectures that convey core principles, interactive seminars that encourage critical discussion, laboratory sessions that provide practical experimentation, and studio workshops where interdisciplinary teams develop design proposals using industry‑standard digital tools such as BIM, energy‑simulation and structural analysis software. Students undertake a series of progressive design projects that require the generation of detailed drawings, calculations and material take‑offs, while also reflecting on sustainability objectives and regulatory requirements. Assessment comprises formative reviews of sketches, calculations and intermediate presentations, combined with summative evaluations of written examinations, technical reports, project portfolios and a comprehensive final dissertation, all of which assess analytical rigour, problem‑solving ability, communication clarity and professional awareness.
