Banking Finance and Financial Markets

During the third year, students will acquire more specialised knowledge essential for working in banking and insurance institutions, or in companies, organizations, and entities operating in different capacities in financial markets.

The course provides a strong foundation on the operations and dynamics of banking and financial organisational structures, on the connection between these entities and the market, also giving essential insights into the legal discipline of financial intermediaries.

Additionally, it explores the macro and microeconomic analysis of markets, with a keen eye on the international scope and quantitative tools for financial analysis.Graduates acquire the skills necessary to operate in financial institutions such as banks, Securities Investment Firms (SIM), insurance companies, asset management companies, or other financial companies such as consumer credit, venture capital, or fiduciaries. 

In addition, they may find employment opportunities within the financial function of industrial and commercial enterprises, as well as within professional or consulting firms (banks or other financial institutions) aimed at financial market analysis (financial analysts).

They will also be able to work in the stock market as traders, stockbrokers and dealers or independent financial advisors offering financial and insurance services.
