Pastoral Ministry

The Master’s programme helps you gain an in-depth proficiency in applied theology, in order to prepare you for taking on 21st century pastoral duties. The Catholic Church has many vacancies that need to be filled with professionals, especially in pastoral roles. You can work in various areas of church ministry, such as parish work, sacramental teaching, youth ministry, care for the sick and grieving, and emergency pastoral care. Each diocese, as a potential employer, will have its own guidelines, so it's important to get in touch with your diocese early. Additionally, you can also work in adult education and counseling.
