The degree is accredited by the Canadian Forestry Accreditation Board and meets certification for the Association of BC Forest Professionals. It offers career paths such as Silviculturist, Woodlands manager, and Registered Professional Forester. The program supports research careers or advanced studies like master's or PhD. It provides linkages to northern B.C.’s natural resources, industry, and communities.
