Mathematics Education BS

From mathematical reasoning to abstract algebra, your understanding of math will go much deeper than just numbers and equations on the page. Plus, you’ll have plenty of chances to take what you’ve learned outside the classroom. This program has multiple courses that prioritize hands-on learning — including an internship course, independent math research, and student teaching in a live classroom. And by the time you graduate, you’ll be ready for licensure as a middle and/or high school teacher in Virginia.
