Master’s in Sustainable Food Supply Chain at Greenwich

This two-year MSc program is designed for graduates aiming to make impactful careers in sustainable food development and supply chain management. With a curriculum that addresses the pressing global challenges of sustainability and food innovation, this course equips students to devise solutions for real-world problems, fostering new product and ingredient development while enhancing sustainability across food supply chains. Graduates gain expertise in marketing, risk analysis, climate change, food microbiology, and public health and engage with industry-standard tools such as the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) framework, certified by the Royal Society for Public Health.

Key Highlights

  • Internship: A one-year industrial placement with an employer in the food sector enhances students' managerial and entrepreneurial skills, preparing them for roles in supply chain management, food legislation, or retail. Students who opt out of the placement can still meet coursework requirements to graduate.
  • Location: Classes and labs are held at Greenwich’s Medway Campus in Kent, a supportive environment for hands-on learning and research.
