Mathematics Bachelor

Course instructors offer exercises that students can complete independently to test their knowledge and strengthen their independence. Tutoring is provided for the first-year courses to support students and encourage group work. Some lessons are held in laboratories and computer rooms where students can put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Professional development modules offer initial experience of the world of work.

Career opportunities

The natural outcome of the bachelor's degree is continuation of studies with a master's degree, in most cases in the Mathematics degree class.

Mathematics is done together, as a team game

The degree program is divided into two curricula: " General and Didactic"  and  "Applied ." The first two years are common to both curricula and focus on acquiring basic mathematical knowledge. The third year completes the basic preparation with some common courses and others differentiated between the two curricula. The General and Didactic  course deepens knowledge of fundamental mathematics, while the Applied  course deepens skills in mathematical modeling and computation. Two elective courses are also available to deepen the knowledge acquired in the first two years. 

For students intending to pursue careers in secondary school teaching and science communication, the curricula allow them to acquire credits in skills oriented to these professions, for continuation of their studies in the Master's degree curriculum.
