MA User Experience Design and Innovation

The MA User Experience Design and Innovation programme is designed for individuals interested in developing intuitive and engaging digital experiences. It emphasizes human-centred design principles, usability testing, and the integration of user feedback into the design process. The programme offers a balanced approach, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Students engage in real-world projects through collaboration with industry partners, enhancing their understanding of contemporary UX challenges. The programme also features guest lectures, workshops, and seminars led by UX professionals. Teaching is delivered at the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, which provides state-of-the-art facilities such as Active Learning Studios and a Maker Space. The curriculum includes core units in User Experience Design Fundamentals and Advanced User Experience Design, followed by a practical client project and a capstone UX Design Innovation Project. This comprehensive project allows students to create a full-fledged UX solution, integrating research findings, design principles, and user feedback.
