In the 2024 call, out of over 10,000 applications submitted, 1,700 projects (from across Europe) were selected . Among these were those submitted by five researchers who, together with faculty from the University of Bergamo, participated in an internal program for the development of the University's excellent international research. Last year, the University launched a program to identify talented young people and potential supervisors, motivating them to engage in excellent European research programs. Subsequently, it organized an advanced training program and individual coaching for researchers and faculty, who were encouraged and supported to develop their research ideas, in accordance with the requirements of scientific and managerial excellence set forth in these European calls.
