Economics is a rapidly changing field, creating a high demand for experienced scholars and practitioners who can analyze and interpret economic data. The M.A. in economics at Syracuse University prepares you to support decision-making processes involving global markets and policy. The M.A. degree requires 30 credits (10 classes) in economics, including five mandatory courses and five electives chosen in consultation with your advisor. Students will complete the following:

- 6 credits of statistics and econometrics
- 3 credits of mathematical economics
