Interaction Design

At the heart of the programme are design disciplines, with project-based workshops serving as the primary environment for acquiring these skills. Humanities play a crucial role in fostering critical thinking, enabling students to interpret cultural and social contexts while understanding the human and emotional aspects of user experience. Alongside this, the programme equips students with economic competencies, essential for navigating business and entrepreneurial contexts.

Technical and engineering subjects contribute to students training by providing the necessary skills to prototype interactive solutions and communicate effectively with technical professionals within interdisciplinary design teams. The programme also offers essential tools for digital representation, including virtual modelling.

In the first year, students develop fundamental knowledge in interaction design, programming, electronics, and prototyping, alongside core design principles. The second year introduces new themes such as data analysis and front-end development, with a strong focus on environmental and social impact, accessibility, and inclusivity in design choices. The third year aims to consolidate students’ knowledge, refine their critical thinking by incorporating ethical and social considerations, and encourage reflection on economic sustainability. In the final year, students further enhance their design skills by tackling medium to high-complexity projects.
